A FONTE

Esta é uma feira dividida por dois continentes, em meses opostos do ano. A Design Miami/ decorre agora em Junho, entre 11 e 16, em Basileia e depois, lá para Dezembro, mas debaixo do sol de Miami, EUA, acontecerá o segundo acto desta mesma peça. E esta peça conta como o design que usamos no quotidiano nasce de uma ideia da cabeça de um artista, ainda sem entraves de métodos, tempos e logísticas. Por isto é considerada uma feira para coleccionadores - imagine ter na sua cristaleira o protótipo do martelo para bifes, ou a primeira Bimby. E mais que uma feira, é toda uma cidade transformada numa gigantesca galeria, onde em cada esquina pode testemunhar o nascimento do próximo mais que tudo da decoração da estação seguinte.

The SOURCE

This is a fair divided by two continents in opposite months of the year. The Design Miami/ is now taking place in June, between 11 and 16, in Basel and then, there in December, but under the Miami sun, USA, come to scene the second act of the same play. And this play tells how the design we use in everyday life is born from the head of an artist, yet unhindered by methods, times nor logistics. Thats why this is considered a collectors fair - imagine having in your cabinet the hammer for steaks prototype, or the first Thermomix. And more than a fair, this is a whole city transformed into a giant gallery, where in every corner we can witness the birth of the next must have on decoration for next season.
