MENINO DO RIO
para ouvir enquanto vê, Menino do Rio, letra e música de Caetano Veloso, voz de Baby Consuelo, 1980 to hear while reading, Menino do Rio, music and lyrics by Caetano Veloso, voice by Baby Consuelo, 1980

1.Zanini of Zanine 2. Armchair Trez, aluminum, produced by Cappellini; 3.Lamp Flora in lentiflex, for Slamp; 4.Armchair Moeda, stainless steel and sheet scrap from the Mints, own production studio Zanini; 5.Armchair Inflated Wood, for Cappellini, 6.Lounge Chair Balance, for Tolix.
MENINO DO RIO
When we hear the term 'emerging countries' we think of molded plastic in 5000 pieces per hour, skins a little darker or beje than ours (this is not racism, do not bother me, it's the truth), and a third world quickly coming to being the first. They tell me that Brazil is an emerging country, I have no idea if the rest, but in design, it is, definitely. One of the most publicized pieces by the press during and immediately following the Salone of Milan was the chair Trez, by Cappellini. Who designed it? Zanini of Zanine, Brazilian, celebrated 35 years yesterday. Graduated in industrial design / product design at PUC-Rio, since 2003 has passed his drawings to production, starting at its own initiative, now by large international benchmarks. When asked what he thinks of Brazilian design of today, answer us "promising, real, interbred, and sharpened regarded by the external interest". Very good attitude, I think, perfectly finished off by answering the question what-would-you-like-to-be-if-you-were-an-object: "a beach chair, to be always by the sea."

After the ceiling, the table. These are the very new, but they, like the previous ones, use the recent past as working base. Plain reissues or more or less assumed inspirations, these are a good summary of everything that Euroluce brought to the table. With Portuguese among, that this nation is meager in souls, but huge in talent.
