Portuguesas, tanto a designer como a produtora, trazem o upgrade da embalagem plana para levar para casa e montar lá a mobília. Aqui não há parafusos nem pregos, há um desenho inteligente, pensado e peças de encaixe. A matéria prima é um aglomerado de madeira hidrófugo, tinto ainda em massa e envernizado para facilitar a limpeza. A outra mais valia que a CUT oferece frente às embalagens planas que por cá já tanto consumimos é que se é fácil e rápido de montar, também é igualmente fácil desmancha-la e remonta-la quando lhe aprouver, sem pôr em risco a integridade da peça. "Put together less material, less labor, less tools, less space and you have the CUT furniture." This is the motto of CUT, producer of furniture do-it-yourself designed by Mariana Bettencourt Costa e Silva. Portuguese, both the designer and the producer, bring the upgrade of flat pack to take home and assemble the furniture there. Here there are no screws or nails, there is instead an intelligent design, thought and fitting pieces. The raw material is a water repellent reconstituted wood, dyed in mass and polished to facilitate cleaning. The other added value that CUT offers, against the flat packs that we used to now, is that if it is easy and quick to assemble, it is equally easy to disassemble and reassembles it when pleases, without jeopardizing the integrity of the furniture.
