By the 80's we were all so so happy. Should be because we were young. Surely not because of the money, I have a fuzzy idea that everybody was poor. Because  now a couple of generations are felling the same, the trend setters awakened de 80's. Color and Black, multi-allover-undirectional-patterns and biggest fun, huge, a 80's-shoulder-pad-size fun. 

Em 80 éramos todos tão felizes. Devia ser porque éramos novos. Dinheiro não era, porque tenho a vaga ideia de que ninguém tinha cheta. Deve ter sido a pensar na minha geração e nas boas memórias da década que os gabinetes de tendências aventaram esta 'nova' onda. Cor e preto, multi-padrões e humor do tamanho dos ombros dos casacos da altura. Casacos não, beleizares.

ANOS 40

Se é certo que o passado serve de quando em vez para inspiração no decor, a década de 40 cai hoje que nem ginjas; o mundo acabava de passar por duas guerras mundiais seguidas a ensanduichar o crash da bolsa e ninguém sabia muito bem como seria o dia seguinte. A decoração aproveitou a queda do establishment e deu a volta. Uma grande volta, tão grande, que ainda hoje aos novos desenhos da altura chamamos 'moderno'.

the Fourtie's

If it is true that the past serves, from time to time, for deco inspiration  the 40's are now a must.  The world had just come through two world wars, with a exchange crash on the between,  and nobody really knew how it would next day be. The decor caught the wave and kicked off some establishments. So, so finely, that yet today we call them 'modern'.
